Notifications

About what do I get notified?

Per default you get notified when there are new comments on your files, new comments on friends files, new comments in your groups, new comments on files you have commented on, new files of friends, new files in groups. You may change these settings under Tools > Options > Notifications (Win/Linux) or Wuala > Preferences > Notifications (Mac).

I don't want to get notified! How can I turn off the notifications?

To turn of the notifications or to define your notifications go to the Settings > "Notifications"

How do I know when someone shares a file with me?

You will get notified accordingly. A new area called will be displayed where all new files have a green mark next to them. If there are many new files you can go to the action menu in the toolbar and click on “Mark all as seen”.

How do I know when someone has added a comment to my files?

You will get notified accordingly. A new area called will be displayed where you can see the comment to your file. Just click on the speech balloon to see the comment. If there are many new files you can go to the action menu in the toolbar and click on “Mark all as seen”.

How do I know when a group has new files?

You will get notified accordingly. A new area called “New” will be displayed where all new files have a green mark next to them. The new files will be displayed under the group. If there are many files you can click on “Mark as seen”, which is displayed next to the group name.
