Wuala accepts Bitcoin! (Alpha)

If you don't know what Bitcoin is, you can read about it on www.bitcoin.org, or just return to www.wuala.com/pricing where we accept the usual currencies.

Wuala support for Bitcoin is experimental and currently processed manually. As the demand for payments in Bitcoin grows, we'll automate the payment process and make it more user friendly. For now, if you'd like to buy some Wuala storage with Bitcoin, follow these steps:

1. Send your Wuala account name and the desired amount of storage (e.g. 10 GB for one year) to bitcoin@wuala.com. Each GB costs 0.1 BTC per year.
2. We send you a newly generated Bitcoin address to which you can send the BTC.
3. As soon as we receive the BTC, we will process and confirm your purchase within one business day.

Note that Wuala might be a good place to backup your Bitcoin Wallet (wallet.dat). All files inserted into Wuala get encrypted before upload. Not even we as operators can decrypt your backed up wallet.
